Xybernaught Corp, a company producing wearable computers, has entered into a strategic relationship with Sony Corp. Sony Digital Products will provide design, engineering and manufacturing services for Fairfax, Virginia-based Xybernaught’s forthcoming line of wearable, speech-enabled computers. Sony, which of course introduced the first wearable audio products in the shape of the Walkman range, says it expects similar success from wearable computer systems. The products are expected to hit the market in Asia and the US during the summer of 1998.
