Xpedite Systems Inc, Eatontown, New Jersey, has announced a strategic alliance with Paris-based Eurofax to bring its facsimile broadcast services to the European market: as part of the agreement, Eurofax has bought a facsimile broadcast central server from Xpedite to provide its services, which it is to market as Mailfax; Xpedite is to receive royalties from Eurofax based on net sales of the service, and is to supply software maintenance and administrative support; the agreement is non-exclusive in that it does not restrict either company from exchanging facsimile traffic from France and the US, and both companies also have the right to establish remote communications nodes on their facsimile systems.
