Wireless networking firm Xirrus has deployed a new wireless network in Saatchi Gallery based on the XR-Series Wireless Array.

The new wireless network will enable the London-based Gallery to provide wireless access, regardless of the traffic load situations, allowing visitors, corporate clients and staff to access the Internet from any device, anywhere in the Gallery.

Xirrus network will also support the live streaming of events, content and media distribution to screens throughout the Gallery, and interactive art installations.

Saatchi Gallery has reportedly selected Xirrus as it meets the Gallery’s requirements to deploy a permanent wireless network which is reliable and fast, with as little equipment as possible.

Saatchi Gallery CEO Nigel Hurst said it is important for the gallery to deliver a flawless user experience.

"The leading-edge technology that Xirrus has provided will ensure that the wireless requirements of the Gallery and all its visitors and clients are met with exceptionally high standards and an uncompromising focus on the user experience," said Hurst.
