XIDEX TO TAKE $80m WRITE-OFF ON OXIDE DISK PLATTERS

Xidex Corp is to phase out manufacture of rigid oxide disk platters to concentrate on thin film platters, and will be taking a charge of $70m to $90m to cover the costs.
