Chinese phone maker Xiaomi is set to launch its next flagship smartphone dubbed Mi 4. It is expected to be the successor of its Mi 3 smartphone launched in September 2013.

Xiaomi founder Lei Jun teased the images of the upcoming smartphone on Weibo known as twitter of China.

He said, "July 22nd, Xiaomi’s annual product launch event. We will tell the story about "The journey of a piece of steel metal."

Reports say that the body of the smartphone will be made from a single block of metal. The phone will have 5.2-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 801 / 805 SoC with 3GB RAM along with 16GB internal memory and a 13 -megapixel camera.

The Chinese phone maker sold 10 million Mi 3 phones within the nine months of its release.
