Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi plans to launch its wearable device Xiaomi Mi Band on 18th August, and price it at $13.

Mi Band is a fitness tracker and not a smartwatch, and like most smartbands it will track users sleep, walking and running.

The band will be waterproof and can track users’ swimming motion.

The fitness band can be used as a standalone device, but users can also pair it with their smartphones via Bluetooth.

When paired with the smartphone, users will be able to unlock their devices using the Mi Band.

Mi Band has a strong battery life and can provide up to 30 days of standby time.
