Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has scheduled a press event on 15th January where the company is expected to announce its next devices.

The company posted a 15-second video on its Facebook page teasing the upcoming product and the image is accompanied by sentences which says: "As _ as paper", "The _ the better," and "As _ as a bell."

The missing words are expected to be ‘thin,’ ‘bigger,’ and ‘curved,’ reported NDTV Gadget.

The company founder Lei Jun also hinted towards the launch of a new product at Chinese microblogging site Weibo.

The company is expected to launch Mi 5, successor to Mi 4. However, an online reseller of smartphones Oppomart listed the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 which is also expeted to be released at the event.

Redmi Note 2 is expected to have a 5.7-inch full-HD display with Gorilla Glass and World’s First Curved Glass Body’, reported VR-Zone citing GizChina.

It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core chipset and is likely to backed by 2GB RAM and will be available in 16 and 32GB variants.

Redmi Note 2 is expected to be based on Android 4.4. KitKat and is also likely to have a 13MP rear and 5 MP front camera.
