Xerox Corp believes it will become a leading player in the home and small office color printing market following the launch of its first consumer products. The company has announced the Document HomeCenter, an integrated device designed for use with the home personal computer that will enable users to have access to a color document workshop, color printing, copying and scanning facilities, with a price tag of $500. Xerox has also launched the Document 450c, a $550 multifunction system for small and home offices that combines color printing with faxing, PC faxing, copying and scanning.
