Xerox Corp, which had promised a decision on whether or not to pull out of South Africa by the end of 1986, wants more time to make up its mind: it says that it would not find the solutions chosen by other companies – departing, but continuing to make their products available there – satisfactory, and that if it does go, it will be for good.
