Xerox Corp has a new generation of its Xerox Ventura Publisher software products comprising the Ventura Publisher 2.0, Ventura Publisher: Professional Extension, and Ventura Publisher: Network Server, incorporating more than 70 new features. The Network server is claimed to be the first desktop publishing product to support concurrent multiple users on a local area network. The 2.0 Publisher is $900; 1.0 or 1.1 users pay $100; Professional Extension is $600, and Network Server plus Publisher 2.0 together are $1,300. Fourth quarter ships.
