Xerox has launched a new cloud-based mobile device management service that will help companies manage the contagious growth of mobile devices and simplify their implementation.

The service is the latest in Xerox’s suite of business cloud services.

"Employees use them 24×7, anywhere and everywhere, and they need them all to connect and sync seamlessly. We keep it secure, simple and cost effective," said Stephens.

Xerox MDM can adapt to organisation to manage virtually every type of mobile device, with pricing suited for enterprises and small businesses, the company said.

Xerox stated its mobile management approach is comprehensive and is fit for companies, including set-up and administration, IT staff training to help them see, track and secure any mobile device.

Xerox MDM also ensures devices can be locked and unusable and formatted remotely.
