Xangati has launched a new free version of its VMware tool for ESX management, which provides virtualisation administrators situational awareness into dynamic environment.
The company said that Xangati for ESX provides virtualisation administrators the ability to solve problems in real-time for both server virtualisation and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments.
It features a user interface with live navigational drill-down and streaming views; DVR recordings; multiple data sources including traffic traversing vSwitches and VMware API; and is optimised for visibility and troubleshooting.
The new tool installs as an .OVF virtual appliance; supports up to 10 IP identities (including Vms); and works with VMware 3.5, 4.0, and 4.1 for ESX and ESXi.
Xangati CEO Alan Robin said that the new free version of VMware for ESX management tool provides administrators with visibility and troubleshooting insights than any other free VMware management tool.
