WYSE TECHNOLOGY CUTS PRICE OF WysePC 286

By CBR Staff Writer

Personalike prices are tumbling like investors who bought IBM shares at $160, and Wyse Technology Inc, San Jose, California is the latest to take the drop: it has cut the tag on its 40Mb disk WysePC 286 by 12% to $3,699, and has extended its warranty to one year from the previous 90 days; the price buys 10MHz CPU with 640Kb, eight slots, serial and parallel ports, 1.2Mb floppy and 40Mb Winchester disks.
