Wyse Technology Inc has a joint venture in China with Intel Corp, Illustra Information Technologies Inc and the SunSoft unit of Sun Microsystems Inc to design computer systems for the hospitals in the People’s Republic of China that will automate medical record-keeping and statistics and financial management: no value was given for the contract, which will provide advanced computer systems to the 200,000 hospitals throughout China, saying the hospitals themselves will pay for most of the equipment and services; the new system will be more comprehensive than computer systems used by hospitals in the western world, the San Joser said.
