Wyle, a provider of high-tech aerospace engineering and IT services, has received a $14m IT contract from the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

Under the contract, Wyle will provide commercial information technology services to support DARPA’s support services office information technology services relocation effort.

Wyle will also provide services that establish an information technology infrastructure to include infrastructure designs/modifications, equipment and software procurement, migration of existing infrastructure, installation, certification and accreditation, and maintenance.

Wyle will design, procure, and implement network infrastructure that will support server, storage, and wireless offerings, with telephony services.

The company said that the offerings will be flexible and scalable and will support a multi-building operations model throughout the contract.

Further, a detailed migration plan will be created to ensure the transition of all information technology services are tested, migrated and documented during the implementation into a new environment.
