WORLDCOM PLANS $300M UUNET EXPANSION

Worldcom Inc says it plans to spend about $300m to expand the network of its UUNet Technologies Inc Internet services provider. It said the expansion and upgrade will more than quadruple UUNet’s available capacity in terms of both backbone bandwidth and dial capacity.
