WORDPLEX SHARES FALL THEN RISE

The shares of Wordplex Information Systems Plc went into free fall first thing yesterday following Friday’s announcement that it was in discussions with Octagon Industries Ltd that could lead to new equity capital and strengthened management before rebounding; after opening at 143p, the shares at one point touched 118p before strong buying by Chase Manhattan Securities took them back to 138p.
