Oracle Corp’s set to ship the US version of its release year 2000-compliant 10.7 applications suite next February. All of the applications can be run via a browser or thin client. 28 foreign language versions of the product are due to ship by the end of this month. Release 11 is slated to include more global support and self service capabilities plus some supply chain planning functionality and support for the European Monetary Union currency. No releases prior to 10.7 are year 2000 compliant and Oracle’s set to make a tidy sum upgrading customers over the next year.
