The company said its Wireless Works operating unit will provide a public security radio network to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to enable communication via 500 portable and mobile radios throughout a 14,900 square km area which includes Niagara Falls and the Lake Ontario and Lake Erie shores, Hamilton Airport and Harbor.

Wireless Age has also agreed to provide CBSA with remote capacity and radio training for agents.

The one-year contract has options for up to two additional years, and the contract has a value of approximately $500,000 if the government exercises their option for the full period.
