So, we know that Qualcomm has got some new chips out this year, the 808 and 810. The manufacturer boasts that its new chips offer faster LTE and wi-fi connectivity, enhanced image quality, professional quality audio, etcetera, so on, so forth. But where are we going to see these chips, I hear you ask? Well, look no further than the list below.

1. LG: LG G Flex 2

This curved smartphone is one of those confirmed by Qualcomm to feature the new Snapdragon 810 processor. The device carries a 3K-resolution display, with 16 GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 128 GB with a microSD. Thes new processor should have LG‘s device performing much faster than previous offerings and a 5.5 inch display and 13 MP camera make this a safe bet for photographers as well.

2. Microsoft: Flagship Lumia

Microsoft has also been pretty vague about specifics on its Snapdragon-featuring phone. At this stage, the likelihood is we will see a Lumia in 2015 carrying the 810, as Microsoft recently claimed the partnership would "deliver best in class Lumia smartphones, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processors, and offer an unprecedented combination of processing power, rich multimedia, high-performance graphics and wireless connectivity for our customers."

3. Xiaomi: Mi5

The Mi5 is one of the others already confirmed by Qualcomm to be featuring the 810. While the prodigious young Chinese smartphone maker – the enfant terrible of the mobile world – has been cagey about its new product, the Mi5 is expected to carry a 2K display and 3GB of RAM. Xiaomi is set for an interesting year – it is currently valued at around $45 billion and poised for a foray into the US market – so this device comes at an opportune time.

4. Sony: Flagship Xperia

Sony is another company talking up the benefits of the new processor without actually saying what they’re going to do with it. While Gen Tsuchikawa from Sony claims to be "excited about the new capabilities of the Snapdragon 810", he will only let on that the company is "looking forward to working with Qualcomm Technologies as we bring new Xperia products to consumers later this year." Very cryptic, Sony – you have us intrigued.

Finally, we should expect devices from HTC, Motorola and OPPO, as they have all issued statements trumpeting their excitement about Snapdragon 810. Sky Li from OPPO promises "the most delightful electronic experience" is headed our way. But we’re going to have to wait a bit to hear about any more confirmed products – perhaps until Mobile World Congress next month.
