Borland International Inc is demonstrating Paradox 386, the database acquired with Ansa Software Inc; the Quattro spreadsheet; and an unfinished version of Sidekick Plus at the show, but there is still no sign in the UK of the Sprint, the word processing engine originally promised for the third quarter last year. The product is, however, available in France, a fact that is likely to upset both City supporters of the company and potential customers who have been waiting for the product. Quattro, which was designed to take on Lotus Development Corp’s Lotus 1-2-3 is currently on sale at ?130, ?165 less than its originally announced price.
