WHICH COMPUTER? – AMSTRAD HAS SOFTWARE PACKAGE FOR ITS PPC LINE

By CBR Staff Writer

Amstrad Plc has finally found a software package meeting chairman Alan Sugar’s price and performance specifications to bundle free with its PPC portable line. The PPCs, making their official public debut at the show, will come with PPC-Organiser, a combined diary, wordprocessor and information card package with additional calculator functions, written by Clasma Software Ltd and published by Triangle Publishing Corp. The promised hard disk expansion box has not, however, materialised. One PPC at the show has a Cumana hard disk attached but the sheer bulk and weight of the add-on ensures that this is no more than a short term solution.
