Watching great but elderly multi-millionaires being interviewed on television is sobering for what it reveals about what money won’t buy, the most striking being false teeth that fit, and another example comes from Cupertino where, reports the Wall Street Journal, despite annual profits running at around $200m, Apple Computer has had two programmers struck by cars as they tried to dodge traffic on the six-lane highway that lies between the company’s software factory and its hardware development laboratories.
