In an effort to railroad through its restructuring plan, Western Union Corp has warned shareholders that its $227m loan agreement with 31 banks expired last Friday, and that the banks have refused the routine extension that has been granted routinely over the past hree years: it says that without the restructuring plan, it may have to file for Chapter XI bankruptcy.
