A nasty case of Sick Heil from the Fourth Reich – despite the fact that the majority of computer games from Pac-Man onwards have had imperialist connotations, youths in West Germany have gone one step beyond the pale, as the West German Federal Office for Monitoring Youth-Endangering Media reports that the Far Right there are illegally producing computer games to promote racism and anti-Semitism: the youths are pirating copies of popular computer games and programming games like Aryan Test onto the disks, which are then circulated at school and at home; so far the Office has banned 30 such games but dozens more are reported to be in use – but at least the authorities are actively fighting the evil in their midst this time around.
