Revenue for the quarter rose 43% to $6.5m with net income at $840,000 – a 108% jump over the prior year. Its core HBX subscription revenue rose 48% during the quarter.
For the full fiscal year WebSideStory’s profits stood at $1.8m (overturning a loss of the amount in 2003) against revenue up 38% to $22.6m.
The results exceeded the high-end of the company’s guidance on revenue and earnings before stock compensation.
Jeff Lunsford, CEO of San Diego-based WebSideStory, is confident of growth continuing in 2005, pointing to a flourishing market for digital marketing.
WebSideStory recently bought Atomz Corp, a San Francisco-based provider of site search and content management applications. Atomz’s software will be included as part of WebSideStory’s planned Active Marketing Suite product roll out this summer.
