The Employee Computing Risk Assessment tool, provided to Websense’s VARs, is used to detect such things as peer-to-peer file-sharing traffic and the presence of spyware and malware on endpoints.

Websense said the ECRA tool can help its VARs’ pinpoint customer risks in terms of security, liability, bandwidth and productivity, and then sell Websense’s content and application filtering applications.
