Amersham Health selected webMethods for its ability to rapidly integrate newly acquired applications and offer scalability for future growth. webMethods’ strong relationships with SAP and the Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) were vital in Amersham Health’s decision.
In addition to enabling internal integration, webMethods will also be used to link Amersham Health’s systems with GHX, an online marketplace that connects suppliers to hospitals. Direct links between Amersham Health and GHX will streamline the procurement and payment process of all transactions completed via the platform.
