Great piece from my colleague Tony Baer today looking at webMethods’ acquisition of Cerebra for an undisclosed sum, to incorporate its technology into the next version of webMethods’ SOA fabric.

“The acquired company, which numbers all of 16 employees, adds the ability to infer relationships between metadata,” Tony explains. “That is, if A relies on B and B relies on C, Celebra’s technologies concludes that A and C also have an interdependent relationship.” Figure that one out with a hangover!
