The deal means Wausau Financial Systems (WFS) can now offer check image exchange to its 5,000 strong base of Optima3 payment processing customers. WFS’ Optima3 provides a suite of financial transaction processing solutions that include image capture, archive and performance modules.
The Endpoint Exchange Network has become a leading electronic check image exchange provider for the financial services industry, processing for more than 4,000 US financial institutions. The network uses open architecture with industry standard files and a published application program interface (API) to facilitate a broad membership.
WFS said that the deal would allow its customers to take full advantage of all the functionality of the Endpoint Exchange Network, including forward presentment, incoming and outgoing returns, incoming and outgoing adjustments and automated image quality assurance on every exchanged image.
