Wang Laboratories Inc, which had been expected to bring out its new top-end VS machines – code-named Pegasus and its first in ECL – before Christmas (CI No 1,070) is now indicating that they will be out before the end of this month. The new VS CPU is tipped to outperform the 3.4 MIPS VS7000 fourfold.
