The four new personal computers from Wang Laboratories Inc comprise 16MHz and 20MHz 80286 AT bus models, and 80386SX models with AT and Micro Channel buses: the first three – PC250/16, PC280/20 and PC350/16S come with 1Mb memory and 3.5 floppy for $2,100, $3,000 and $2,700; the MC 350/16S is pitched against IBM’s PS/2 Model 55SX, but has more on-board memory capacity and more expansion options, coming with five Micro Channel slots, 2Mb memory, 3.5 floppy drive and on-board 16-bit VGA adaptor for $3,000 while an MC350/16S with 40Mb disk, 4Mb memory and VGA monitor is $5,710; all four take up to 8Mb on the motherboard, and another 8Mb on an add-on board; 20Mb, 40Mb and 60Mb disks with controllers that plug into a motherboard socket so not commandeering a slot, are $700, $1,300, and $2,300 respectively.
