VRML GROUP, MICROSOFT & NETSCAPE TO MAKE VR ANNOUNCEMENT

The VRML Consortium, responsible for the development and promotion of the virtual reality modeling language, is planning a joint press conference with Microsoft Corp and Netscape Communications Corp at the Siggraph 97 graphics show in Los Angeles on August 4. It claims the announcement will have a major impact on the Web and three dimensional market.
