Voxtel, a part of consumer electronics manufacturer Binatone Electronics, plans to tie-up with 75 distributors and 7,000 dealers by the end of 2008. It has already tied up with retail companies and telecom operators such as Reliance, Spencers, Croma, and MTNL for its marketing operations.

Sat Murthi, international sales director at Voxtel said: The company is targeting sales revenue of over $100 million by end 2008 through its wide range of telecom and personal navigation products. With enhanced market reach and penetration, sales would double by end 2010.

According to the Statesman, Dino Lalvani, chief operating officer at Voxtel said: To start with, the company is offering a gamut of advanced technology products, including digital cordless phones, VoIP phones, and high performance GPS personal navigation devices.

The company is also planning an R&D facility in Bangalore to cater to the global software and research market.
