The Volvo specific Nuvi 760 will be available at dealerships across Europe and North America. Volvo’s dealer-fitted accessory kit includes the latest Garmin satellite navigation system, the Nuvi 760, as well as a smart mounting bracket that is positioned on top of the dashboard.

The Nuvi 760 has a bright, widescreen that guides drivers to their destination with turn-by-turn, voice-prompted directions. If the driver misses a turn, the Nuvi automatically recalculates and gets them back on track.

Roger Jollis, director of OEM & mobile marketing at Garmin, said: Garmin is delighted to work with Volvo to offer its customers a high quality satellite navigation system. Volvo and Garmin are passionate about safety, engineering and quality, and we believe customers will appreciate the design of this navigation solution. This transaction strengthens Garmin’s growing position as a recognized supplier to the automotive industry.
