March 31, 2005 attains interest in digital theatre company Lightyear

Telecom firm has acquired an interest in Canadian company Lightyear, a developer of specialized digital theatres.

By CBR Staff Writer will acquire a 33 1/3% interest in the firm, which aims to capitalize on the digital entertainment industry by offering digital venues for entertainment, education and information packages, in an agreement expected to involve a combination of shares and cash.
