Canoga Park, California-based Voice Powered Technology Inc has signed an OEM deal with Kong Wah Video Co Ltd, to distribute Voice Powered’s Voice Wand system on Kong Wah televisions sold in China: no word on exactly what the Voice Wand does, but presumably it’s a remote control device that enables you to change channels by shouting at the set – in which case it no doubt pays not to get too excited when the racing or Terry Wogan are on.
