Vodafone Group Plc has reacted to Mercury One-2-One Ltd’s new personal communications network and tariffs by cutting the monthly subscription from October 1 on its low user LowCall tariff to UKP15, with call charges of 50 pence per minute at peak rate and 20 pence per minute off-peak, representing a 15% reduction on the current tariff; it is also offering lower subscription and reduced call charges for its new CapitalCall service which will offer a reduction of 20% compared with the Vodafone standard Business tariff – CapitalCall offers reduced subscription and call charges for customers making most of their calls in the London area, and the monthly subscription for CapitalCall will be UKP20 with call charges of 20 pence per minute for peak rate calls made from within the area bounded by the M25 motorway.
