VMX INTEGRATES VOICE MESSAGING WITH AT&T PABXs

VMX Inc, the voice messaging pioneer from Dallas, Texas, has announced, integration capabilities with AT&T’s System 75 and System 85 PABXs so that VMX voice messaging systems will now offer call answering, message waiting indication, and a variety of call transfer options. VMX offers the voice messaging systems that are fully integrated up to 64 ports on the AT&T System 75 and System 85 PABXs, notes the company’s president, Jack McKittrick. Pricing for integration of voice messaging with one of the AT&T PABXs starts at $1,750. VMX was granted a patent in 1983 covering voice messaging technology and currently licenses 30 vendors in the industry. It looks for its proposed acquisition of Opcom to give it a leading role in the industry.
