Mr DVS Raju, chairman and managing director at the Hyderabad-based company, plans to recruit about 500 employees to work in areas such as help desk services, inbound call centers, and claims processing. These services will be run from a center in Hyderabad from March 2004, by which time it expects to firm up orders from three of its customers. In the year to March 2003, VisualSoft made an operating profit of IRP 454m ($9.8m) on revenue of IRP 1.27bn ($30m).
