Visual Network Systems, a provider of enterprise service intelligence for IT organisations, and VADS Berhad (VADS), a provider of Managed ICT Service in Malaysia, have partnered to provide IT managers with a view into the network yielding optimised business and consumption views.

Visual Network Systems said that the VADS will use its Visual Performance Manager (VPM) offering, a part of former’s portfolio of enterprise service intelligence technologies, for the latter’s new Managed Network Visibility Services (MNVS).

The new MNVS provides visibility of network usage, allowing businesses to optimise their infrastructure to ensure the business services delivery.

The service includes application classification of network traffic, real time monitoring of key network and application metrics, automated thresholds and alerts on performance events, capacity planning and automated monthly reporting.

Visual Network Systems senior vice president and general manager Lyn Cantor said that the offering with its multi-tenant architecture, is well-equipped to validate the performance of networks and provide solid foundations for an easy migration to a WAN optimisation deployment, like VADS’ MNVS Services.
