Virtuality Group Plc of Leicester has formed alliances with several Japanese majors, the Kyodo news agency reports. It says a new Virtuality KK subsidiary will be announced next week to handle virtual reality games distribution, technology licensing and software development. As well as designing a arcade-type games system for the new Sega games parks, Virtuality has licensed its VR operating system to Sega Enterprises Ltd and has signed a distribution agreement with Dentsu Prox Inc, a subsidiary the big Dentsu Inc advertising agency.
