Vimo says that consumers can access instant chat with brokers, while leads are delivered to its nationwide network of independent insurance agents.

Scott Osler, Vimo VP of business development, said that the service caters for those who prefer talking to a human being when it is convenient for them, rather than completing a form and waiting for a callback.

Mr Osler pointed out that Click-to-Call also resolves consumer concerns over entering sensitive health information online. Concurrently, the new Vimo technology speeds up the process for brokers, who no longer have to try to get the customer on the phone after receiving an email lead. Furthermore, each lead is exclusive to a specific broker.

VimoLive rings the customer’s phone, and immediately starts searching for an available agent in the customer’s locale. If the first agent selected by Vimo’s system does not pick up, the system will keep hunting until it finds an agent who does.

Additionally, Vimo brokers will be able to track and annotate all of the calls they receive through VimoLive’s online lead tracking system. Vimo plans to offer VimoLiveClick-to-Call leads at a price point comparable to existing email-exclusive leads.
