Hong Kong-based Video Technology Group has established a new company in Beaverton, Oregon called VTECH Communications Inc, which will develop and market cordless telephones to the general consumer market: Video Technology is a Hong Kong-based conglomerate that manufactures consumer products, and other US ventures include Central Point Software of Portland, Oregon, Vidicraft Corp and Leading Technologies, both of which are up in Beaverton.
