Vertical Communications, a provider of IP-based phone systems and voice applications, has updated its converged IP telephony system SBX IP with various voice mail feature enhancements, support for Vodavi Starplus and Vodavi STSe digital phones and several feature updates for small businesses.
The SBX IP is a small business telephony system that incorporates features such as, integrated voice mail/auto attendant, Voice over IP (VoIP), CTI, conferencing, IP soft phone support and multi-site networking for single- and multi-location small businesses.
According to Vertical Communications, the SBX IP 3.5 features voice mail enhancements such as cascade mailbox, e-mail notification of voice mail, administrative mailbox, virtual mailboxes, class of service (COS) settings, outcall retires/interval, distribution lists, rewind, FF, pause/start when listening to a message, future delivery, private message, confirm receipt, dial-by-name on sending a message and temporary greeting.
In addition, the new offering also includes enhancements for call screening (answer machine emulation), caller ID name/number in call log and allows new parameters to be programmed from the TUI or PCAdmin.
