The VersionOne-SubVersion link enables developers to trace code changes to specific defects or issues. In turn, each tool cross references the other so developers can toggle between the tools to get different views of the plan, and the versions of code attached to the plan.

Another link has been provided with Fitnesse, an open source testing tool that enables developers to see test results for each iteration of code.

Other new features of version 7.1 include built-in support for retrospectives, where team members can track summaries for each iteration. That’s useful when planning stories, which are agile development’s version of requirements.

Release 7.1 follows by a couple weeks the release of a community edition, which is a free starter edition for small development teams. VersionOne’s Agile Management Platform 7.1 is available now.
