Veroxity launches new ethernet product with VPLS technology

Interconnects ethernet based LAN networks across multi-location WAN

By CBR Staff Writer

Veroxity Technology Partners, a service provider of data and internet connectivity offerings, has launched its Flexible Any to Any Ethernet Solution. The VPLS product provides the enterprise with multipoint connectivity with ease of pure ethernet service.

According to Veroxity, the Flexible Any to Any Ethernet product leverages existing metro fiber rings to interconnect ethernet based LAN networks across a multi-location WAN, taking advantage of Layer 2 technology.

The service is a good fit for enterprise-level organisations that have turned to MPLS technology for their WAN connectivity, a Layer 3 service that involves the exchange of routing tables and higher levels of complexity, the company claims.

Eric Sandman, president and CEO of Veroxity, said: Our customers are looking for a better way to deliver data to geographically distributed sites that removes the complexity of an MPLS solution and the need for disparate technologies. Veroxity’s Flexible Any to Any Ethernet solution enables these organisations to maintain flexibility and enjoy a simplified implementation without sacrificing network integrity and control.
