Verizon Wireless brings 3G Jamdat games to the US

3G Verizon Wireless customers will soon be able to download Jamdat games. Jamdat is a company that tailors entertainment applications for specific technologies such as wireless devices. The service will be available on a national basis.

The games that will be on offer include Bowling, Baseball, 2002 FIFA World Cup On the Break, and Tiger Woods PGA TOUR Golf. These games will be premiering as wireless downloads in the US.

The games will run on Qualcomm’s BREW platform. Users with this software on their phones can download the Jamdat games for a. They can play them for as long as they like, since they will not require another wireless connection once it has been downloaded already.
