Verizon Business said that it has certified its Adtran NetVanta 6310 IP Business Gateway to be deployed with Verizon IP Integrated Access service in Europe and the US.

According to Verizon, the NetVanta 6310 is designed specifically for the small-to-medium sized business and enterprise markets. It combines the functionality of a business-class, multiservice router with a VoIP gateway. When offered in combination with Verizon IP Integrated Access, the gateway offer a quality voice and data service with enhanced cost efficiencies.

Verizon IP Integrated Access is designed to be used by businesses, simultaneously with existing key telephone system or PBX and also leverage the benefits of VoIP technology. The IP integrated access system enables companies to consolidate voice and data services as one Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) based VoIP network.
