VERBATIM INCREASES PRICES OF ITS 3.5″ FLOPPY DISK MEDIA

For an industry and user community that has been educated to expect steady erosion of prices, the spate of moves in the opposite direction is a bit of a shock: Eastman Kodak Co’s Verbatim Corp subsidiary says from its base in Charlotte, North Carolina that it is following Sony’s lead and increasing the prices of its 3.5 floppy disk media; its prices will rise 10% on February 5.
